This area has taken off in the past few months for Pool Scouts, with three new franchisees signing deals within the past two months, adding more fuel to our largest market!
The pool service industry has proven to be essential in 2020, with most families at home and looking for ways to pass the time. In fact, the demand for pools has sky-rocketed to a point where pool builders simply can’t keep up, and pool cleaning and maintenance providers have been working hard to ensure pools are swim-ready. Pool Scouts has been able to continue servicing and providing clean pools for families, while taking measures to keep both customers and employees safe. Because of the “no contact” nature of pool cleaning and not having to interact face-to-face with customers, the industry is doing better than ever.

Mike Blake, owner of Pool Scouts of North Plano-Frisco, had his own pool cleaning company prior to joining Pool Scouts. His background experience and knowledge of pool service, combined with his wife Michelle’s excellent customer service skills and corporate support, have brought Mike great success in his area.
While we’ve had an established presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for a while, things have taken off in 2020. Starting in June, we had Steve and Michelle Stern sign for three territories around the North Dallas and Park Cities area. The Sterns have lived and worked in Dallas for their entire careers. They were looking to build a family business together and viewed franchising as a way to jumpstart through a partnership with a proven franchise team. They landed on Pool Scouts, finding it to be the perfect fit with what they were looking for.
About a month after the Sterns joined the Pool Scouts family, friends Jason Richardson and Michael Luckey purchased three Pool Scouts territories in northwest Dallas. Jason and Michael met while working in sales at an out-patient imaging center. They decided they both wanted to be in business for themselves and thought franchising would be a great way to do it. They ultimately decided that the Pool Scouts brand, with its professionalism and corporate support, would be a great fit. They will be operating right next door to the Sterns!
Shortly after the Luckey/Richardson dynamic duo signed, Curtis Boyden signed for three territories in the North Fort Worth area! With over 25 years in the transportation industry, Curtis decided to transform his love for being around water to becoming a Pool Scouts business owner. He is looking forward to building something he can be proud of, being a part of a team, and hopefully, inspiring others to do so as well.
