Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Lynlea grew up a die-hard LSU fan. As a competitive swimmer, swim coach and lifeguard, Lynlea spent a majority of her early life in the pool. After receiving an undergraduate Business degree from Elon University, she went back to Baton Rouge where she received her MBA from Louisiana State University. While working towards her MBA, she coached her alma mater high school swim team and led them to win the Louisiana State Championship meet. For the past fifteen years, Lynlea has worked in marketing and advertising, most recently as an Account Supervisor at Otto Design and Marketing in Norfolk, VA. There she oversaw advertising accounts of all sizes from small family-run shops to large credit unions. She is most passionate about helping others achieve their business goals. Lynlea lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, Brian, and two children Paige and Parker. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends at the beach and around the neighborhood.
Kirsten has spent over 20 years working in training, and is excited to utilize that skill set in her role as Franchise Business Coach with Pool Scouts. When not training and supporting franchisees, Kirsten is heavily involved in various volunteer work in the local community.
Chad was born into a military family in Arizona and spent his childhood living on Air Force bases around the world. He got his start in the pool and spa industry in 2004—working side by side with Trent, our current Field Operations Manager. Like many in the industry, once he got in, he never left. Chad spent nearly two decades in the field before joining the Pool Scouts corporate team, where he now helps franchisees navigate all things pool-related. When he’s not supporting franchisees, Chad enjoys going to concerts, stand-up shows, car shows, and cruise-ins.
Asia Dark is the Marketing Specialist at Pool Scouts, where she assists franchisees with email campaigns, social media content, and general marketing support. A Virginia Beach native, Asia earned her Marketing degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and has a background in social media and digital marketing. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and spending quality time with loved ones.
Dave was born and raised in Alaska, spent 30 years in Sacramento, California, and now resides in Thomasville, Georgia. Dave has been in franchise development for more than 12 years and loves helping people feed their entrepreneurial spirit and free up time through scaling a business. The former VP of Development at Deka Lash enjoys the outdoors camping, fishing, and spending time with his family and four-legged friends.

In 2010, Rita had the opportunity to transition from Tourism to Franchising by joining an emerging health food franchise and quickly fell in love with the industry. Working with hopeful entrepreneurs became more than an interest—it became a passion. Guiding someone through the journey to business ownership is extremely rewarding and just one of the many reasons she enjoys Franchise Development as much as she does! Rita currently lives in Central Florida with her husband, Christian, and their loyal “delivery man guard dog,” Louie. She is a major bibliophile with a yearly goal of 75-100 books. She also loves traveling, live music, paddle boarding, and hosting themed dinner nights with family and friends during her free time.
