While the past couple of months have caused many businesses to shift and adapt to change their priorities, Pool Scouts has kicked off 2020 strong, gaining traction on multiple fronts as we continue to grow our franchise family. From being recognized for multiple accolades this year, to hosting numerous virtual meet the team days (which were a success!), to taking the opportunity to speak on a couple franchise podcasts and webinars, we’re going full force! Here’s a closer look into some of the awards we’ve already won this year, and we’re just getting started.
Pool Scouts was recognized as one of FranServe’s Fran-tastic 500 for 2020! FranServe is the world’s largest franchise consulting and expansion organization, focused on helping others achieve their dreams of business ownership. FranServe selected brands for this recognition that they felt set themselves apart from the rest. The winning brands demonstrate going above and beyond the norm in helping people fulfill their dreams of business ownership through franchising.
Entrepreneur Top New FranchisePool Scouts made Entrepreneur’s list of Top New Franchises for 2020 for the second year in a row. Entrepreneur is a national business publication that brings insight to the diverse challenges of business ownership. We are proud to be recognized by such a renowned company. This award considered companies that started franchising within the past five years. When evaluating companies for ranking, Entrepreneur scored based on cost and fees, size and growth, franchisee support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability.
Pool Scouts also made not one, but TWO of Franchise Gator’s top lists! The first category that Pool Scouts was recognized for was Top 2020 Emerging Franchises. Franchise Gator, one of the largest franchise directories, helps people find their perfect business, as well as providing helpful articles for people to use to research as they’re deciding what franchise they want to buy. The Top Emerging Brand award recognizes top emerging brands based on information directly pulled from Franchise Disclosure Documents (or FDDs).

We are proud to be included alongside such great brands in these recognitions. We plan on continuing full force throughout the remainder of 2020. While the current times might look a bit different, technology has allowed us to pivot our franchise development strategy, so that we can continue growing onward and upward.
First and foremost, we continue to support our franchisees and customers and provide Perfect Pools, Scout’s Honor. Pool Scouts President Michael Wagner said, “We are actively communicating to our franchisees on an ongoing basis regarding safeguarding against the COVID virus, adapting our standard operating procedures to include safeguarding our customers and technicians across the system.”
We are also using this time of social distancing to think creatively on how to strengthen our franchise development strategies. From franchise development webinars, to virtual decision days, to online trade shows, we have found innovative ways to engage with prospective entrepreneurs and further our mission of enabling people to realize their dreams of business ownership. We look forward to living up to our accolades mentioned above, and continuing our growth and expansion throughout the remainder of 2020.
