There were more than 1,000 companies that applied for this year’s ranking, and “those that rose to the top reveal the latest trends as well as the companies that continue to evolve to keep going strong year after year,” states Entrepreneur. When it comes to understanding the method behind the ranking, Entrepreneur looks at multiple factors. First off, the companies named in this list began franchising in the last five years. They are also ranked based on the scores received in Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 evaluation which analyzes more than 150 data points in the areas of fees and costs, size and growth, brand strength, franchisee support, and financial strength and stability.
