Pool Scouts, a 110-plus territory pool cleaning franchise, has seen accelerated growth in Q1 and Q2 of this year, with the brand celebrating several accolades. The company, which operates under parent franchisor Buzz Franchise Brands, saw double-digit signings and openings in the first six months of 2022.
Pool Scouts signed 10 franchise agreements and continues to extend to various parts of the country. The brand also celebrated 21 new franchisee openings, which has brought the company into eight new markets and six new states.
One new franchisee is Nora Farhat, who owns another Buzz brand, British Swim School, and became Pool Scout’s first owner to sign from the sister company. She opened a Pool Scouts in Detroit and has been hard at work using the skills she learned from British Swim School and corporate support to ensure her success.
Another notable event involved franchise owner Tiffiny Consoli of Pool Scouts in Raleigh, North Carolina, who was recognized as Franchisee of the Year by the International Franchise Association (IFA) in March.
The brand, which was also recognized on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list, had commendable success with its charity initiative during Water Safety Month. Pool Scouts raised more than $16,000 to donate to the Hope Floats Foundation to provide over 800 swim lessons to children in need across the country.
Internally, the brand also has seen growth with its leadership team. Pool Scouts recently hired Russell Gesher as the new director of operations. Gesher, who has over two decades of experience leading multi-unit operations through scaling, joined the brand in June and is excited to be a part of the brand’s tremendous growth.
As the company looks to Q3, Pool Scouts is focused on supporting its franchisees through the busy summer season and working with the 10 owners who have signed agreements this year to get them trained and prepared for opening.
